Sustainability Specialist - Ref#: GBSS003

We are passionate about sustainability, and are searching for an experienced and detail-oriented Sustainability Specialist to prepare and coordinate the required documentation for a variety of green architectural projects.

Ref#: GBSS003 – Location: Egypt, Qatar, UAE & USA

Essential Skills and Responsibilities:
    • Support design team on development and implementation of sustainable strategies
    • Manage GGID process from registration through certification
    • Review audit reports from GGID auditors, worldwide, for general oversight and quality control
    • Coordinate the work of multiple consultants and supervise the work of project team members
    • Interface with a wide range of internal and external team members, including clients, engineers, contractors and commissioning agents.
    • Familiarity with technical capabilities regarding building construction and technologies.
Qualifications:
    • 3-5 years of relevant experience, including direct client interaction.
    • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, or related industry.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
    • Basic technical knowledge of building systems and operations and the ability to read, understand and interpret building floor plans, sections, site plans, zoning maps, interior furniture and finish plans, construction specifications and operational policies.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and proactively communicate progress of task completion.
    • The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, results-oriented and a team player.

Social Media Specialist - Ref#: GSMS002

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for ensuring the success of social media marketing campaigns by expanding our fan base, keeping users engaged, and assisting customers with questions or issues when necessary. They will be the public voice of the company, and need to deliver the same level of service we strive. Delivering fun, exciting and informative content is a must!

Essential Skills and Responsibilities:
    • Maintaining and updating social media communications of all types, including Facebook, Twitter, Delicious, etc.
    • Writing a recurring blog about various technology topics as outlined by marketing and Internet Customer service staff
    • Monitor and engage in online conversations about the company and resolve consumer complaints found online
    • Work with the marketing team to implement strategies to promote products or categories through social media
    • Stay current with all social media trends and integrate any new platforms or technologies as they become available
    • Present analytic and reporting on a weekly basis for social media growth and interaction, with the ability to draw meaningful insights.
Qualifications:
    • BA in English, communications, journalism, marketing, new media or related field of study
    • Knowledge of best practices for marketing across all major social media sites, including Facebook and Twitter
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics and social media analytics tools
    • Knowledge of blogging tools, particularly WordPress
    • Must possess concise writing skills with proper spelling and grammar
    • Must possess a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
    • Must be able to work well in a team, multi-task, and meet deadlines
    • Have an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion to deliver the best results possible.

Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, HTML & CSS is a plus.
